Hittabåtservice
Boat mechanic working on a motorboat

Do you run a boatyard, workshop or marine service business?

Find your company, take control of the profile and make it easier for the right boat owners to find you.

If your company is not in the register you can register a new profile. Hittabåtservice is initially free for businesses.

Find my company

Find and verify my company

Search by company name, registration number, town or website.

Hittabåtservice is initially free for businesses

During the launch period it costs nothing to register a new company, claim or verify an existing profile or manage the company's details. If paid services are introduced later, the company will be informed clearly in advance and nothing is activated automatically.

What you get

  • Relevant customer requests matched to your services and area
  • A way to fill spare capacity in low and high season
  • A profile showing your expertise, authorisations and references
  • Tools to manage requests, price proposals and jobs

How connecting works

  1. Step 1

Search for your company in the register and choose “This is my company”. If it is missing, you can register a new one.

  2. Step 2

We review the claim and the company details before you are linked to the profile.

  3. Step 3

You add services, service area and brands in the Business portal.

  4. Step 4

Once the profile is approved and published you can receive requests.

Which businesses can be listed?

Hittabåtservice is a marketplace for service, repair, maintenance and storage of leisure boats – not a general business directory.

Businesses that can be listed

  • Boatyards
  • Marine workshops
  • Engine workshops
  • Mobile boat mechanics
  • Marine electrics and electronics
  • Hull, GRP and gelcoat specialists
  • Canvas makers and boat interior fitters
  • Riggers and sailmakers
  • Boat hauliers
  • Lifting, haul-out and launching
  • Winter storage
  • Boat care, detailing and polishing
  • Surveyors and damage assessors
  • Marinas offering service, repair or storage

Businesses that are not shown

  • Fuel docks without a workshop
  • Petrol stations without a marine workshop
  • Chandleries without their own service work
  • Online shops
  • Restaurants and general stores
  • Boat clubs
  • Guest harbours without service operations
  • Dealers that only sell boats
  • Marine businesses that do no work for boat owners

A business that both sells products and runs its own workshop is welcome, but its profile and matching are based solely on the services it actually performs with its own staff. Selling a brand's products never automatically means the business can service or repair that brand.

Sponsored placements are always clearly marked in the search results and are never presented as objective recommendations.
